Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to Subscriptions to the BillsEzy Service operated by Jsons Digisoft Private Limited ("BillsEzy", "we", "us", or "our"). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Please read it carefully before subscribing.

1. Free Trial

We offer a [15]-day free trial with no payment card required. During the trial you can explore the Service and cancel at any time at no cost. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan, your access to paid features will simply end after the trial.

2. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Paid plans (Growth and Business) are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis, as selected by you. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal is charged at the then-current plan price.

3. How to Cancel

You may cancel your Subscription at any time from your Account settings or by emailing support@billsezy.com. Upon cancellation:

• Auto-renewal is stopped, so you will not be charged for the next cycle;
• You retain access to paid features until the end of your current paid billing cycle;
• Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy — we recommend exporting your data before the period ends.

4. Refund Eligibility

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the current billing cycle, except in the following cases:

• Duplicate/erroneous charges: if you were charged more than once for the same period due to a technical error;
• Billing errors: if you were charged an incorrect amount;
• Service failure: if a verified, prolonged failure on our side prevented you from using the Service and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time;
• First-time purchase goodwill window: a refund request made within [7] days of your first paid purchase may be considered at our discretion.

5. Non-Refundable Items

• Fees for billing periods already used or partially used;
• Add-ons, one-time setup, onboarding, or customisation charges (unless stated otherwise);
• Third-party charges (e.g. SMS/WhatsApp credits, payment-gateway fees) consumed during use;
• Renewals where cancellation was not made before the renewal date.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@billsezy.com from your registered email within [7] days of the charge, including your Account details, invoice/transaction ID, and the reason for the request. We may ask for additional information to verify the claim.

7. Refund Processing & Timeline

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within [5–10] business days. The time taken for the amount to reflect depends on your bank or payment provider. Refunds are made in Indian Rupees (INR).

8. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we will try to resolve it promptly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your Account pending resolution.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date and, where material, notified through the Service or by email.
